Ignacio Herrera es un pecador redimido por la gracia soberana de Dios. Ignacio ha servido como pastor en iglesias Bautistas en Dallas y Fort Worth, Texas. Antes de su ministerio en Texas, fue pastor en Charleston, Carolina del Sur por 6 años. Antes de ser llamado al ministerio, Ignacio sirvió en el ejercito (Marine Corps) por 8 años. Durante ese tiempo conoció a Shanira, y se casaron en 1996. Tienen tres hijas: Shadia, Sharon y Sharis. Ignacio y Shanira ambos se graduaron de la Universidad de Biola, en La Mirada, California (B.S. 2001). Ignacio continuó su entrenamiento teológico en el Seminario Bautista Southwestern en Texas (Maestrías en Divinidad, 2005). La pasión de los Herrera’s es ver la congregación gozarse en la gloria de Cristo y el avance del evangelio. En su tiempo libre, los Herrera's disfrutan pasando tiempo en el campo.
Ignacio Herrera is a sinner redeemed by God’s sovereign grace. Ignacio has served in churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth TX. Prior to his ministry in Texas, he pastored a church for 6 years in Charleston, South Carolina. Before receiving his call to the ministry, Ignacio served in the Marine Corps for 8 years. During that time he met Shanira, and they married in 1996. They have 3 beautiful daughters: Shadia, Sharon, and Sharis. Ignacio and Shanira both graduated from Biola University, La Mirada, CA (B.S.’01). Ignacio continued his theological training at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, TX (Master of Divinity 2005). Their joy and passion is to see the congregation rejoice in the excellencies of our triune God and the advancement of the gospel. On their free time, the Herrera's enjoy spending time together on the farm.
